           Santa Cruz County has an Emergency Notification System which
           is used to send important messages to residents and businesses
           within Santa Cruz County. The system has the capability of sending
           thousands of messages in a very short time based on geographic
           location of the incident for things like:

Be-on-the-lookout notices for dangerous criminals in our area
     Requests for community assistance in locating missing people

               Our land lines are already in their computer, but you can add your
               cell phone if you want to be notified when you're not at home.
